A selection of Commissioned Artworks
Finding the perfect gift for a major milestone can feel like a high-stakes mission. Whether it’s a retirement, a landmark birthday, or a significant anniversary, store-bought items often fall short of capturing a lifetime of memories.
Our commissioned artworks bridge that gap, turning personal histories into tangible masterpieces. By collaborating closely with you, we transform specific stories, shared jokes, and cherished moments into bespoke pieces that don’t just sit on a shelf—they tell a story that resonates every time the recipient looks at them.
We believe that a gift should be as unique as the person receiving it.
Our process is centred on personalisation, ensuring that every detail reflects the recipient’s character. From capturing the essence of a long career for a retiree to celebrating the vibrant spirit of a birthday, we produce unique artworks that serve as a lasting memory.
When you give a piece of commissioned art, you’re not just giving a “thing” you’re giving an experience of being truly seen and celebrated.

‘Lady & Labrador in the Bluebell Woods’

A Pricing Guide
Because every commission is a unique collaboration, we don’t believe in “one-size-fits-all” pricing.
The cost of your piece is as bespoke as the artwork itself, tailored specifically to the complexity and scale of your vision.
To give you an idea of how we calculate your investment, we consider several key factors:
・ Subject Complexity: The number of people or pets included significantly impacts the time required. Capturing a likeness is a delicate process!
・ Background & Detail: A simple, minimalist backdrop will differ in price from a lush, detailed scene—like a specific Sussex woodland or a family home.
・ Size & Framing: From small 10cm x 14cm to something very large. Unframed or framed.
・ Reference Quality: Working from clear, high-resolution photographs allows for the finest level of detail.
Case Study: ‘Lady & Labrador in the Bluebell Woods’
To help visualise the process, consider a recent commission by Caz. She was asked to create a 28cm x 28cm piece capturing a cherished daily moment.
| Feature | Details Provided |
|---|---|
| The Subjects | One lady and her beloved Labrador. |
| The Setting | A Sussex Bluebell wood. |
| The Details | Specific outdoor clothing and and details for background. Caricature style. |
| The Process | Caz worked from several high-quality photos, maintaining a constant line of communication with the client to ensure the clothing, posture, likeness and “feel” were exactly as envisioned. |
The cost of this 28cm x28cm artwork was £160 – including a 40cm x 40cm quality slim profile white frame with white mount, glass glazed.
